Pandukeshwar

Pandukeshwar, located 24 km from Joshimath in Uttarakhand at 6,300 feet, is a serene, historic village and a significant pilgrimage site on the route to Badrinath. Known as the winter abode of Lord Badrinath (Yogdhyan Badri Temple), it is historically significant as the place where King Pandu meditated and the Pandavas were born.
